This is a wonderful bias cut

It is cut like a loose fitting duster through the body and I love the attached tie at the neckline

This one has rows of different colored sequins between tightly spaced rows of zig zagging metallic thread on a black knit and elastic base and is a little taller so give a touch more coverage

The skirt also has an elastic over a band of solid color silk crepe - this may be a replacement but I have seen other Bieff pieces with this same detail so I believe it is original as well

This is a rare and hard to find larger sized Courreges ensemble

1950s Metallic Blue Wiggle Dress & Jacket designer-adele-simpson This is a wonderful biasI find it astounding that this is not a labelled piece as it is just unbelievable. Really one of those pieces that only come along in a far while these days! It is in mint, unworn condition and it really amazing! The fabric is a blue shot through with horizontal bands of gold and silver so the entire thing gleams. The dress is fantastic side hip pockets set so they sit out from the hip and really emphasize the bombshell feel. The neckline is gorgeous.
