Positioning myself for sunrise I wait to the morning light to pick up more of this steam with the City of Denver in the background from just west of downtown

In October 2008 I was in the area during a week long trip to northern California

Clear skies allowed for the late afternoon sun to cast a rainbow on the waterfall while also providing details to the textures of the grass and rock

I decided to look down on the leafs to capture the lines and patterns which they created

The area was filled with people sledding on the fresh snow

Reykjavik City Hall Presentation:Print Only Positioning myself for sunrise ILocated along (and in) the City Pond, the Town Hall of Reykjavik is a modern building with lines with draw you into the building itself. From the west you enter the building over a slightly curving path over the water which on many days will give you time to check out the many birds which spend time in the pond. The building is open to the public and features a large 3D map of Iceland which you can view in the lower level of the building.
