I have had a version of this dress before that was a bit more elaborate then this one but I actually this simplified one with its sleek lines that allow the print it really stand out

The blue wool has been woven in a large tweed pattern and in person it has a lot more texture and depth to it that how it photoed

What makes it interesting is that a very near version of it walk the runway for the Fall 1988 show. You can see how he slightly changed the design to give it a bit of a younger feel and make it easier to wear.
