The cotton silk kurti is embellished with aari , dabka & zardozi metal threads , embroidered by hand in a crescent shape . The edges of the kurti are also cut by hand after being embroidered into a similar scallop pattern . The back is embellished by the same metal threads in a chaand motif in the center.
